These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cloud Sentry public website, the Cloud Sentry Support Portal, and the services provided by Cloud Sentry (formerly STR Consulting LLC, "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing either property or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use either property or our services.
Scope: Marketing Site and Support Portal
These Terms apply to two distinct properties operated by Cloud Sentry:
- Marketing Site (cloudsentry.com): our public website, where we publish information about Cloud Sentry, present resources, and accept inbound inquiries. The Marketing Site does not require sign-in.
- Knowledge Base (help.cloudsentry.com): our public help center, where we publish self-service support articles. The Knowledge Base does not require sign-in.
- Support Portal (support.cloudsentry.com): the customer portal where Cloud Sentry customers and their authorized contacts submit support requests, track ticket status, approve access requests, and access policies and standard operating procedures we maintain on their behalf. The Support Portal supports unauthenticated request submission for general intake; certain workflows, including viewing your prior requests, approving access requests, and reading customer-specific policies, require sign-in.
Sections below note where a particular term applies only to the Marketing Site, only to the Support Portal, or to both.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In such cases, "you" and "your" shall refer to that entity.
Description of Services
Cloud Sentry provides managed IT services, cybersecurity solutions, cloud operations, and compliance support for businesses. Our services may include, but are not limited to, network management, security monitoring, incident response, cloud infrastructure management, regulatory compliance consulting, and related technology services. The specific scope of services for any given customer is defined in the individual service agreement between Cloud Sentry and that customer; these Terms do not, by themselves, create a services engagement.
The Marketing Site is provided as informational. It does not, by itself, create a contractual relationship for the delivery of services.
The Support Portalis an authenticated workspace that supports the day-to-day delivery of services under a separately executed service agreement. Through the Support Portal you and your authorized contacts may submit support requests, track the status and history of those requests, approve access-change requests where you have been designated as the approver, and view policies and standard operating procedures Cloud Sentry maintains on your organization's behalf. The features available to you depend on your role and on whether you are signed in.
User Responsibilities
When using either property or our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when submitting forms or engaging with our services
- Use the Marketing Site, the Support Portal, and our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of either property, our systems, or our networks
- Not transmit malware, viruses, or any other harmful code through either property
- Not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of either property without our express written permission
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with your use of our services
In addition, when using the Support Portal you agree to:
- Keep your sign-in credentials and any single-use sign-in link sent to you private. Do not share a sign-in link with another person; if you receive one in error, please notify Cloud Sentry.
- Treat approver-decision links as bearer credentials scoped to a single recipient and a single Access Request. Do not forward an approver link to anyone else; ask Cloud Sentry to re-issue a link if the approver has changed.
- Submit only information that you are authorized to share with Cloud Sentry. The Support Portal is not intended for the submission of regulated health information (Protected Health Information under HIPAA), payment card numbers, or other categories of restricted data unless we have agreed in writing that those categories are in-scope for your engagement.
- Not attempt to access support requests, approver links, policies, or other content belonging to a different customer organization.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and other materials, is the property of Cloud Sentry or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute any content from our website without our prior written consent. The Cloud Sentry name, logo, and all related trademarks are the exclusive property of Cloud Sentry.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cloud Sentry and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Cloud Sentry for the services giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the event that gave rise to the liability.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cloud Sentry and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our website or services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of New Hampshire, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our website and services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to use our website and services will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including but not limited to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website and services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
